To begin this nail art, I started off with a white base, OPI Alpine Snow. To create the tie dye look, I used a technique pretty similar to the one stroke flower technique that has become somewhat popular. All the colorful polishes I used are all Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, since they are so opaque. The shades I used are Fuchsia Power, Sun Kissed, Mellow Yellow, Perfect Pear-ing, Blue Me Away & Pinch of Punch. For each stripe of color, I dipped half of a flat paintbrush in the white polish, and the other half in the color. I then painted in little zigzags to make the stripe. I finished off the tie dye with a coat of Nail Tek Intensive Therapy II Top Coat.
